A letter from a young Freight Forwarder, Emmanuel

A very nice letter received today from a young tanzanian student.
He is giving us some great idea for the future of our network and maybe our paths will cross again in the future.
For the moment, we wish him good luck for his future.
Hello,
I’m Emmanuel, a young Tanzanian and student at The University taking bachelor degree of commerce in procurement and Logistics Management.
I want to inform you that i’m real impressed by the network (Africa Logistic Network) and i wish to be a freight forwarder with my certain company and join the network.
But for now i can not, because i’m still young and an undergraduate student.
However i have a proposal, may be for further project that you may launch in future when the organization is much better and stable. To initiate program that associate with young logistics professionals, may be to establish an association of Young Africa Logistic Network that may have a young representative at each member country who coordinate and operate ALN activities and act as a link between ALN and universities that offer procurement and logistics studies in their country. The main concern is on training young logistics and inform them about the network (ALN), as what it is, how it works and its benefits as well.
I take this proposal in an utilitarian view because i hope it will help to increase the identity of ALN and growing the best future logistics professionalist.
On my side i’m keen to offer my support or be an agent of ALN in my country for any further project that may be introduced of such related. And i’m willing to volunteer my effort so as to develop my career and strength my potential, for the betterment of my country, Africa, and logistics profession at general.
Your Sincerely
Emmanuel
