CMA CGM amends two of its services in Africa

CMA CGM modifies its services between the Mediterranean and West Africa (EURAF 4) and between Brazil, East Africa and Southern Africa (SAMWAF).

 

Effective end of June 2018 with m/v LETO, EURAF 4 operated with a fleet of 9 vessels up to 3,650 TEU will offer:

  • A direct link connecting Italy ports to Senegal and West Africa strategic markets.
  • Direct coverage from all West Mediterranean ports to Benin.
  • Significant transit time improvement to Gabon and Cameroon up to 6 days.
  • Dakar will be reached in 19 days from Genoa, Cotonou in 26 days, Port Gentil in 39 days.

 

EURAF 4 port rotation: Genoa – Livorno – Marseille – Barcelona – Valencia – Algeciras – Tangier – Dakar – Lome – Cotonou – Bata – Malabo – Kribi – Onne – Port Gentil – Libreville – Douala – Lome – Genoa.

 

New rotation for SAMWAF
For the SAMWAF service, Rio de Janeiro will be served via Santos on the Shuttle Rio Service. Luanda will be served from Rio de Janeiro in 29 days, Durban in 20 days and Nhava Sheva in 48 days. New rotation (from June 19): Itajai – Paranagua – Santos – Cape Town – Durban – Port Elizabeth – Luanda – Pointe-Noire – Itajai.
